In news that we’re sure will shock absolutely no one: Taylor Swift is a cat lady. No, we’re not making fun of Taylor’s single status or many failed relationships. She actually, literally loves cats. For any business translation inquiries, contact Translation Company UK
Her fans are as familiar with Taylor’s female companions – Meredith and Olivia Benson – as they are with the lyrics of her songs.

Swifty’s pets are perfect, as they fit right in with our image of TayTay spending her weekends baking cookies, doing some light gardening, and then settling in for a Law & Order marathon on TNT (Olivia is named after Mariska Hargitay’s character on SVU).
Taylor’s love of cats is so well known that she even poked fun at it in a video she shot for American Country Music Awards. (Remember when she was a country singer?!)
Recently, however, Taylor has come under fire from cat advocates (cat-vocates?) for toting her docile kitties around Manhattan.
No pet carrier? No leash? At any moment, Olivia could go dashing all over NYC in hot pursuit of justice, just like her namesake!
But if you thought Taylor would do something careless or irresponsible when it came to her kitties, well you don’t know Swifty:
“The kitten freaks out about getting put in the cat carrier,” Taylor explained in a recent interview. “She freaks out when she’s in there, so I was like, ‘Okay, alright, we’re just gonna do this!’”
Taylor adds, “It was like a ten foot walk from my door to the car. What I thought was hilarious about those pictures that, like, the cat is looking straight at the cameras.”
So there you have it. Taylor has perfectly good reasons for bringing her cat along when she leaves her Upper East Side apartment to go do cool showbiz stuff while looking flawlessly stylish.
Can she slip on a banana peel or something one of these days? We’re getting a little sick of all this perfection.
Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott: Taking HUGE Pay Cut For True Tori Season 2?
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have signed on for a second season of their controversial reality show True Tori, but took a big pay cut in doing so.
According to reports, the two stars were forced to accept a major salary reduction to get the show on air, and don’t use the term “major” loosely.
Dean, who put the couple’s marriage under the microscope by doing Emily Goodhand in a Toronto hotel, will now be doing the show he spawned for free!
“Lifetime was still interested in another season of the show,” an insider said. “However, Tori had to be willing to take a pay cut, a big one, and she did.”
“The pay cut was significant … Tori is making only $50,000 to do Season 2. And Dean isn’t making a dime. Tori made sure his contract specified that.”
Ouch. The meager ratings brought in by the show gave the network plenty of leverage, with Tori’s years of financial problems garnering no sympathy.
Like everything else in her life, real or fake, Tori’s money issues have been well documented over the years. That $50K isn’t likely to help much.

Not that money is Spelling’s only reason for wanting back in the spotlight.
“Her friends think she would have done the reality show for free, she is that obsessed with having her personal life played out on camera!” the source said.
“She needs constant validation from Dean and everyone around her.”
Filming is underway for True Tori Season 2 (premiering October 21!!!!!), which finds her “healing herself and dealing with the issues that have plagued her for years.”
Lifetime says in a release that there are plenty of those to go around:
“While much of the chaos of last spring is seemingly behind her, there still exists a tremendous amount of work ahead for Tori as she struggles to find her true self.”
Or the scripted self she wants to make us think is real. Either/or.
